  • Client notes in connection with consultations

  • Processing payments

  • Contact details such as e-mail and telephone number
  • Information needed to process payments, such as address
  • In addition: any name and contact information of the next of kin, if a client so desires

  • To comply with contractual agreements with clients

  • Compliance with a legal obligation the business is subject to, such as storage due to statutory rules for accounting matters
  • To safeguard the company’s legitimate interests, for example to defend a legal claim. 
  • NB: Names and contact information of a relative or other contact person, when the client choses to give this information, are stored only to be able to notify the contact person in the event of a sudden, acute illness that may occur during a session. They are not used for any other reason.

Individuals (clients) can at any time:

• Withdraw consent for treatment activities based on consent

• Access their personal information and notes made after session and other personal information

• Change their personal information

• Request the deletion of their personal information

• Terminate the contractual relationship

Storage time for personal information:

Ieva Vera stores personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing. Data is deleted when a contractual relationship ends (unless explicitly agreed otherwise). Statutory rules, for example related to storage for accounting purposes and other legal obligations, may make it necessary to store personal data for a longer period of time. Continued storage can also take place when it is necessary to safeguard the company’s legitimate interests, such as enforcing or defending legal claims.

Ieva Vera may disclose personal information (name, email and any telephone number and / or address) to data processors who perform services for the company. The data processors will only use the personal data for the purpose for which they were collected and to perform the services for the business. Disclosure of personal information to authorities only occurs in accordance with law and current regulations. Other extradition takes place only after written instructions and consent from the registered person.

The company uses the following data processors as part of the therapy service:

  • Fiken for accounting/tax purposes.
  • Konfidens for costumer register, online booking of appointments, payment processing, invoices, online therapy sessions, storing contact information and client notes.
  • DocuSeal for contract and data consent.

Newsletter subscription:

Ieva Vera uses Substack to create and deliver newsletters. Newsletter is not part of the therapy service. It will only be sent via email if subscribed on Ieva’s Substack page. The platform has its own privacy policy. If subscribed, your personal information will be handled in accordance to it. While newsletters might contain marketing information related to therapy services, Ieva is committed to creating valuable content and respecting your inbox.

Right of appeal:
